We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Engineer to grow and manage commercial HVAC and hydronic equipment sales throughout the Anchorage and surrounding Alaska market. This role is ideal for a technically strong, self-motivated sales professional who thrives in an autonomous territory and values long-term customer relationships.

- Spend approximately 60% of time in the field developing new business and managing existing accounts
- Sell commercial engineered HVAC and hydronic equipment to contractors, engineers, building owners, and facilities teams
- Build and maintain strong, consultative customer relationships
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations for commercial construction projects
- Review and interpret construction drawings and bid documents
- Provide technical and application support throughout the project lifecycle
- Track opportunities, projects, and follow-ups using CRM tools (Salesforce / Financial Force)
- Monitor competitor activity and identify market growth opportunities
- Typically 8–15+ years of experience in commercial HVAC or hydronic equipment sales, applications, distribution, manufacturing, or fabrication
- Proven success negotiating and closing commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of hydronic systems and HVAC equipment
- Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and professionally
- Strong time management, organization, and territory planning skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience covering large or remote geographic territories
- Familiarity with Alaska construction, energy, industrial, or military markets
- Experience with Financial Force or similar ERP systems
- College education or continued education in sales, engineering, or business
