Native Healthcare Sales Consultant – Anchorage, AlaskaThis position is field-based, focusing on new business development, and will require travel approximately 80% of the time within the territory. The Sales Consultant reports to director-level supervision and is responsible for initial and follow-up sales calls with prospective clinicians to explain the use of an at-home Pain Management device. This device is indicated for pain management and offers a non-narcotic option for patients experiencing chronic or acute pain, specifically within Native Alaskan Healthcare Systems in Alaska.
ESSENTIALDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs initial and follow-up sales calls on prospective clinical providers.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of the device’s use, operation, and maintenance.
- Stays informed about competitor products.
- Develops a sales plan aligned with company objectives.
- Documents sales activity for supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- At least one year of sales experience in the medical field.
- Experience with Native Alaskan Healthcare Systems preferred.
- Ability to clearly present written information and findings.
- Ability to communicate concepts effectively.
- Ability to make executive-level presentations.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and external contacts.
- Ability to travel 80% of the time.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to fly on an airplane, as required.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle for long periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to hear and speak English clearly.
- Ability to operate typical office equipment, including personal computer, copier, telephone, scanner, and printer.
