Inside Sales&Order Fulfillment Specialist
Reports To: Director of Equipment Sales & Dealer Partnerships
Position SummaryThe Inside Sales&Order Fulfillment Specialist serves as the operational hub of NSTI's Equipment Sales & Dealerships business. This position supports customers and the sales team by preparing quotations, coordinating procurement and order fulfillment, maintaining dealer programs, and managing CRM and sales reporting. The role ensures every customer order is processed accurately, efficiently, and professionally while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Inside Sales&Customer Support- Prepare customer quotations, product recommendations, and sales documentation.
- Provide timely customer communication throughout the sales process.
- Support account development by identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while building strong customer relationships.
- Process customer orders and coordinate purchasing activities.
- Manage orders from quotation through procurement, shipment, invoicing, and completion.
- Coordinate with vendors, warehouse personnel, logistics providers, and Accounting to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues affecting delivery or customer satisfaction.
- Maintain dealer registrations, certifications, and manufacturer program requirements.
- Coordinate rebate documentation and manufacturer compliance activities.
- Escalate pricing, margin, contract, or strategic issues to the Director.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, equipment, and sales information within the CRM system.
- Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, backlog reports, and performance metrics.
- Ensure documentation and sales records are complete and accurate.
- Recommend improvements to sales, procurement, and order fulfillment processes.
- Support inventory accuracy and documentation quality.
- Promote teamwork, safety, professionalism, and NSTI's customer-focused culture.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in inside sales, customer service, procurement, logistics, distribution, or telecommunications preferred.
- Experience using CRM, ERP, Microsoft
365, and supplier portals is desirable. - Strong customer service and administrative experience.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and business software applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Primarily office-based with regular computer use and occasional coordination with warehouse operations.
- May occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must maintain a professional, customer-focused approach while supporting a collaborative team environment.
