As our General Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving dealership growth by coaching, mentoring, and supporting the sales team while maintaining a customer‑first culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve dealership goals
- Assist sales consultants in closing deals and negotiating vehicle pricing
- Appraise trade‑in vehicles and oversee inventory management
- Plan, organize, and direct all dealership sales activities
- Conduct sales meetings, training sessions, and performance coaching
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Partner with the service and finance teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Monitor sales performance, profitability, and operational efficiency
This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as business needs require.
Qualifications- Previous automotive sales management experience (required)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
This position is primarily performed indoors and includes prolonged computer use, frequent standing and walking throughout the dealership, and regular communication with customers and staff in person and by telephone.
