Shift supervisor, Security

Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc. a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has a great opportunity for a part-time Shift Supervisor supporting our customer located in Kinston, NC.

The role of the Part‑time Shift Supervisor includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties. Shift Supervisors must be familiar with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders. Will supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Provide direct guidance and oversight of the Protective Security Officers which include numerous security duties across the security spectrum to include but are not limited to:
Entrance/Exit posts;
Roving Posts;
Traffic Control;
Control, Issuance and Storage of Keys;
Security and Fire Systems;
Building Rules and Regulations;
Unauthorized Access;
Response to Injury/Illnesses;
Flying the US Flag, and other additional duties as required by contract.

• Supervises day-to-day activities of all Protective Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Ensures all training and required licensing for position is completed.
• Appraises, rewards, and disciplines employees.
• Reviews paperwork generated during shift for accuracy and completeness and corrects any discrepancies.
• Monitors and approves payroll of all employees assigned to them.
• Ensures quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift.

Pay rate: $20.50 to $21.00 Hourly
