The Nutaaq is responsible for assisting journey‑level trade workers in all phases of work associated with a particular trade area. This position works under direct supervision of the journey‑level trade worker and performs a variety of tasks to gain experience and improve technical understanding and skills in the use of trade tools and equipment.

• Assist the journey‑level trade worker with general trade and craft areas including troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and construction tasks.
• Follow guidelines, handbooks, state and federal codes, and verbal and written instructions and directions to perform assigned tasks.
• Perform skilled trade work commensurate with years of experience and training.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to selected trade.
• Move, load, and carry materials and equipment as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment inventory.
• Prepare routine reports and safety audits.
• Maintain monthly hour logs in accordance with company procedures.
• Comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
• Support AES zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

• All successful applicants will be required to sign a release of information form.
• Must be an ASRC shareholder to be qualified for this position. Verification and/or documentation may be required.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification.

• Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred.
