Marlow Manor Assisted Living Facility/Manor Management of Alaska are seeking a Maintenance Worker/Janitor for Marlow Manor Assisted Living. This is a full-time position, and applicant should be willing and able to respond promptly to emergency calls regarding the building.

Individual must be skilled in building maintenance to include basic painting, light carpentry, some electrical, plumbing and occasional housekeeping when needed. Job duties will be discussed when interviewed.

Individual should be courteous, prompt, and professional. Applicants must work well with people.

This is full time Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm position and reliable transportation is required.

Medical insurance paid by employer after 60 days and 401K after 1 year. Full-time employees receive paid vacations.

Pre-employment screening includes Background/Fingerprinting/Drug Testing and references are required.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Maintenance Worker located in Anchorage, AK. Individual must be skilled in building maintenance to include basic painting, light carpentry, some electrical, plumbing and occasional housekeeping when needed. Job duties will be discussed when interviewed. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, utilizing power tools, conducting carpentry and plumbing repairs, and carrying out preventive maintenance tasks.

The individual will ensure that the facility is operating efficiently, safely, and in accordance with organizational standards.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices
  • Driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Experience in Carpentry and Plumbing for repairing and maintaining structural integrity
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on‑site
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
