OverviewOur Smart Buildings help create efficient, safe, adaptable, and responsible environments. We are improving how we live, work, and move today and for the next generation. Our Service Specialists conduct service agreement tasks, scheduled maintenance assignments, and project support to ensure building automation systems within hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities are properly maintained and operating correctly.
Key Responsibilities- Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
- Collaborate with internal service team members including Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and Region Americas Digital Service Center personnel.
- Follow safety requirements as outlined by Siemens and customers.
- Successfully complete assigned training as outlined in the training path.
- Follow mandatory policies, procedures, and standards and maintain tools and test equipment.
- Respond to service calls (emergency and on-site) as assigned and perform repairs on all automation system types.
- Document service tickets per policy and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed and generate reports within Siemens tools.
- Perform system checkout and startup on projects and other duties as assigned.
- Participate in rotational on‑call and/or minimal overnight travel; compressed schedule may require extended hours.
- Work is generally performed at customer locations which may include construction site noise and distractions.
- Electro‑mechanical experience (through work experience or education) and proficiency with PC/software.
- Ability and willingness to work in varied circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, high lift equipment, ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and various conditions.
- Willingness and ability to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, tablet, and to carry equipment and tools up to 75 lbs unassisted.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Minimum 18 years old, valid driver's license with limited violations; eligible for Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.

CompensationThe pay range for this position is $46,553 - $79,805 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
