Security Service Technician

RELOCATION OFFERED TO QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. THIS POSITION WILL BE IN ANCHORAGE, AK

• Guide our installation team in Alaska.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute installation projects from kickoff to completion.
• Install, program, and commission access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.
• Mentor and supervise field crews; ensure safety and quality.
• Manage schedules, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong customer and internal communications to deliver successful projects.

• Install appropriate devices; dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or Tyco Integrated Security.
• Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials, and clean up installation debris.
• Contact customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.
• Prepare estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.
• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook‑up procedures.
• Test operation of system to the signal‑receiving center to properly establish service.
• Read building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.
• Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
• Manage installation teams on larger projects.
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers.
• Remote travel required, using company vehicle and equipment.

• Some technical school training is a plus.
• 5+ years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated programming aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Experience bending conduit.
• Ability to always operate fleet vehicle safely.
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
• Proven leadership experience in installation or field operations.
• Hands‑on experience installing and programming various access, CCTV and burglar alarm systems; familiarity with IP video, door controllers, readers, alarm panels and related software.

• CCURE certification.
• Lenel certification.

Hourly rate $36‑49, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
