Journeyman Plumber

Commercial Journeyman Plumber – Anchorage, Alaska

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyman Plumber with a strong mechanical background to join our Federal Operations and Maintenance Team in Anchorage, Alaska.

• Install, maintain, test, and repair plumbing and HVAC mechanical systems, related piping systems, control valves, and all other related equipment, in accordance with plumbing and HVAC codes.
• Read and understand design documents.
• Lead projects and manage change.
• Estimate time and material jobs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and exceed customers’ expectations.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Vocational high‑school diploma, trade school certification, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in commercial plumbing and installation.
• Alaska Journeyman’s Plumbers License.

• Self‑starter, able to work in a team environment, and able to install from bid specifications.
• Required to travel to remote locations at times.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, and lift 45+ lbs. without assistance.
• Strong verbal, written, computer communication (MS Office), and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi‑task, follow through, and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing in state of residence.
