Journeyman Service Technician (PBA)
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this full‑time role analyzes the root causes of equipment failures and proposes corrective actions. Duties include performing journeyman tasks, conducting regular inspections, and carrying out repairs and replacements. The schedule is a 4/10 work week.
LocationAnchorage, AK 99501 – a heated and air‑conditioned warehouse just off 4th Street behind Wendy’s.

Duties- Inspect, troubleshoot, estimate repairs on engines, powertrains, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and more.
- Regular travel to field equipment both in town and remote.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports, accurate timekeeping and expense tracking.
- Competently use internal computer systems, including electronic diagnostic tools, parts management and work order management software.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Journeyman level technician skills.
- High level of technical troubleshooting ability with experience in aftertreatment, engine, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- 5+ years of experience with over‑the‑road heavy‑duty diesel trucks.
- Able to work 40+ hours per week.
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must lift at least 30 pounds regularly, stand for long periods, and perform bending, lifting, and pushing tasks.
SafetyAll team members must follow safety policies and standards, complete onboarding safety requirements, and attend monthly safety training.
