Position Title: Journeyman Electrician
Pay Rate: $86.11 per hour
Position SummaryWe are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a safe and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using appropriate testing equipment.
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, controls, and other electrical components.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Current Journeyman Electrician License (required).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (required).
- Ability to obtain and maintain TSA clearance (required).
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely perform work at heights when required.
- Competitive pay of $86.11 per hour
