Journeyman Plumber

Pay

$40.00 - $55.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, construction, and maintenance, with a strong ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Perform construction plumbing tasks such as rough‑ins and finish work.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
• Conduct pipe threading and assembly as required for installations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
• Provide field service support for plumbing issues as they arise.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to move materials or equipment on job sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
• Assist in remodeling projects that require plumbing modifications.

• Strong knowledge of construction practices and plumbing techniques.
• Proficiency in welding for pipe connections when necessary.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems including HVAC components.
• Experience with carpentry skills for integrated projects.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials.
• Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
• Maintenance Person experience is a plus for general maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail in all work performed.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
