Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring efficient and safe site operations. Your expertise in handling construction equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge will be crucial in delivering high-quality results on time and within safety standards.

- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to move materials and prepare sites for construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Handle material transportation using front loader trucks, water trucks, roll‑off trucks, tanker trucks, and other specialized vehicles.
- Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently during equipment operation and site activities.
- Assist with site preparation by grading, excavating, lifting heavy loads, and managing construction materials with precision.
- Perform routine hydraulics checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections in accordance with occupational safety regulations.
- Proven experience operating a wide range of construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators, cranes (including tower cranes), backhoes, and water trucks.
- Hands‑on experience with construction site operations and material handling equipment operation.
- Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance procedures and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and occupational safety regulation compliance.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving commercial trucks such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, front loader trucks, or roll‑off trucks.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs using hand tools and conduct routine equipment checks.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety standards including PPE use and hazard awareness.
