RF Technician

Arcticom, LLC provides network and systems administration, enterprise architecture and resource planning, certification and accreditation, software design, programming, maintenance of telecommunications and land mobile radio equipment and systems, help desk support and IT transformation services among other services.

Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.

• Install and service UHF/VHF, DAS, microwave, and other wireless communication systems.
• Program basic and mid-level code plugs for two-way radios and related equipment.
• Perform mobile radio installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Recommend appropriate equipment and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Support the sales process through technical expertise and customer communications.
• Some regional travel and on‑call hours are required.

Associate degree in Electronics or IT (or equivalent experience).

• Hands‑on experience installing, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing RF equipment and two‑way radio systems.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Proficiency in RF system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non‑technical

• RF Certification (e.g., ETA, NARTE, or equivalent).
• IP networking experience.

• This position not have supervisory responsibilities.

• This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety‑sensitive” functions.

Office environment with periodic customer site visits and field work.

Standard hours (8am to 5pm) with occasional after‑hours, on‑call, and travel to remote or field locations.

Drug screen, MVR, and background checks required. BSNC Shareholder Preference applies.
