Field Measurement Technicians - $42.46/hr - Anchorage, AK

ENSTAR is seeking Field Measurement Technicians to join their Anchorage team, supporting the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to Alaskans. This role involves installing, calibrating, and maintaining gas measurement and control devices, both in the field and in the shop. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, safety-focused, and eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization.

What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Formal education in electronic instrumentation/process technology preferred or equivalent experience in plant operations/maintenance
  • Demonstrated technical troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions
  • Familiarity with Southcentral Alaska geography
  • Current Alaska Driver’s License and ability to operate a vehicle per company policy
  • Successful completion of the Operator Qualification Program
  • Ability to pass drug, background, employment, and driving record screening
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Fundamental knowledge of natural gas measurement and gas chemistry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools
  • Previous experience or education in electrical system theory and National Electric Code
  • Experience with systems operating at 1,000 PSIG or more
  • Knowledge of pipeline operations and maintenance
  • Knowledge of gas metering technologies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong math and science skills
