Position SummaryWe are hiring an experienced Crane Service Technician - Level 2 or above to join or relocate to our Anchorage, AK branch. Join our team and be part of a 50+ year legacy to provide unmatched customer service.
Responsibilities- Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes.
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
- Accurately document work performed in service reports.
- Perform new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and startup.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Travel may be required; work vehicle provided.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory and the ability to troubleshoot 480
VAC 3‑phase motor control systems. A.A. degree or equivalent vocational training or experience preferred. - Minimum of 2 years hands‑on electro‑mechanical maintenance experience.
- Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments and familiarity with related equipment.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must pass drug‑screen and background check.
- Proven commitment to safety.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Experience with Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming a plus.
- 8 hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
- On‑call or overtime may be required.
- Yearly stipend for safety boots up to $150.
