A little about the position:
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, our full-time Service Technician position is responsible for analyzing the root causes of equipment failures and proposing corrective actions. Equipment Service Technicians also perform regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements. Please see duties below.

Some of the duties of this position:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to ensure proper functioning. This may involve inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment components.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment through testing and analysis. Use diagnostic tools and equipment manuals to pinpoint problems accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and service schedules. Prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance history, and recommendations for improvements.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems in equipment, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. This could include repairing or replacing electrical wiring, hydraulic systems, engines, or other mechanical components.
- Competent and thorough use of internal computer systems, including electronic diagnostic tools, parts management and work order management software
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills for success:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Mechanical knowledge

- Able to work 40+ hrs per week.
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
