Colville, Inc. is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our North Slope operations in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This position plays an important role in maintaining safe and efficient operations by operating loaders and other heavy equipment to support snow removal, pad maintenance, and general site operations.

What You Will Do

• Safely operate front end loaders and other heavy equipment as assigned
• Perform snow removal and maintain pads, roadways, parking areas, and other work areas
• Load, move, stockpile, and relocate materials as needed to support operations
• Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections of assigned equipment
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies at all times
• Maintain awareness of personnel, vehicles, equipment, and changing conditions in active work areas
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and other team members
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Work safely and effectively in extreme cold, snow, wind, reduced visibility, and changing weather conditions
• Assist with additional operational duties as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support Colville operations

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience operating front end loaders and other heavy equipment
• Snow removal and Arctic or cold weather operating experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong knowledge of safe heavy equipment operating practices
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical or safety concerns
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work extended shifts in a rotational environment
• Ability to work safely in extreme Arctic weather and changing site conditions
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Employment Requirements

Successful candidates must be able to meet all applicable pre employment requirements, which may include:

• Criminal background check
• Motor vehicle record review
• Fit for duty or medical evaluation as required for the position
• Authorization to work in the United States

This position is based in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, and requires working outdoors in Arctic conditions. Employees should be prepared for extreme cold, snow, wind, limited visibility, uneven surfaces, and the normal hazards associated with heavy equipment operations.
