What you will be doing?You will play a critical role in safeguarding Alaska’s vulnerable adults, and you will be responsible for receiving and investigating reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. You will also evaluate an adult’s decision-making capacity and provide either voluntary supportive services or involuntary protective services, as appropriate.
In this role, your other responsibilities include conducting advanced-level casework, developing service plans, preparing legal documentation, participating in court hearings or mediation, and providing testimony when required. This position serves a diverse population of adults who may be experiencing complex behavioral, medical, mental health, and socioeconomic challenges across the lifespan.
This Position Requires Frequent Travel within the State of Alaska.

The working environment you can expectThis position is located in East Anchorage off Debarr Road in Anchorage, next to East High School. Work hours can be flexible within the general state hours of operation.
Teleworking is an option after an initial training period.

Special NoticeThis position does require the ability to Travel Frequently within the State of Alaska by either automobile or aircraft in all weather conditions.
A valid and current Alaskan Driver's License is required at the time of appointment.
