MD-Officer; Non-Type Rated

The Opportunity

As an MD‑80 First Officer, you’ll fly as SIC alongside a seasoned Captain, executing precise, checklist‑driven operations and delivering a polished, passenger‑focused experience. This is a Non‑Type Rated (NTR) opening — successful candidates receive MD‑80 differences and type training as part of onboarding.

• Operate the MD‑80 series as SIC, adhering to SOPs, checklists, and company policies.
• Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight‑and‑balance with the Captain.
• Manage radio communications and maintain situational awareness across all phases of flight.
• Apply strong CRM and threat‑and‑error management to support safe, on‑time operations.
• Monitor aircraft systems, automation, and flight guidance; cross‑verify data and callouts.
• Represent the flight department with a professional demeanor and appearance.

• Total time: 2,000 hours
• Multi‑engine: 500 hours
• Turbine: 500 hours
• License: ATP (FAA)

  Not required — training provided

• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Current passport
• Valid government /driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance
