Full time position with the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Alaska International Airport System (AIAS).

• Oversee the AIAS Air Service Development team, guiding passenger and cargo service initiatives across Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) and Fairbanks International Airport (FAI).
• Lead airport planning efforts for FAI, including the Airport Master Plan, Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants, and related strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with airlines, global cargo carriers, logistics providers, tourism organizations, and government agencies to identify opportunities that strengthen Alaska’s role as a premier international aviation gateway.
• Analyze emerging aviation trends, develop new initiatives to enhance airport competitiveness, and influence air transportation policy across the state.
• Supervise a talented team of professionals, coordinate complex, multi‑agency programs, and develop strategic marketing and outreach efforts.
• Guide projects that improve operational efficiency, cargo movement, and passenger connectivity, working with the FAA, TSA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other stakeholders.

Fairbanks: $3490.40 bi‑weekly
Anchorage: $3388.80 bi‑weekly

This position can be located in Fairbanks or Anchorage and may involve work in remote and urban locations across Alaska.

Equivalent qualifications are typically gained by training from an accredited college or university in any field and/or progressively responsible professional experience in program development, coordination, and implementation.
