Job Summary

Pathfinder Aviation is seeking motivated individuals for heli ski and apprentice precision longline utility operations in Alaska for the 2027 field season.

Pilots will attend immersive training for both Heli Ski and Precision Longline Operations prior to contract placement. Pathfinder training is highly structured and designed to build skills and confidence before arrival on the job. Company Instructors are highly experienced and focus on real world application of skills and the psychological aspect of teaching and learning. Pilots are placed on multi-aircraft jobs which allows for a slow and methodical integration into the contract workload.

Requirements

Minimum:

• Ability to accept and apply training and critique
• 1500 hours PIC Helicopter
• 100 hours in AS350
• 25 hours in AS350 in the last 12 months
• 100 hours helicopter in the last 12 months
• 50 hours longline/VR
• All part 135 experience minimums met

Preferred:

• 3000 hours PIC Helicopter
• 300 hours in type
• 200 hours Longline/VR
• Heli Ski experience in AS350
• One season of Alaska utility experience
