Load and unload materials within yard or work site and assemble load packages into trucks for delivery to customer job sites;
Load materials onto or from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles and install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit;
Perform load-building, determine appropriate weight, composition, and placement of load based on customer order and delivery vehicle capacity to ensure load is balanced and safe for hauling;
Convey materials to or from storage to designated area using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklift or other devices;
May provide training and/or guidance to less experienced Load Builders and follow all safety procedures
