Job Description

Admiral Beverage is a large family‑owned business operating mainly in Alaska. We are looking for a Warehouse Loader to help with the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of our products. The role is based in Anchorage, Alaska.

• Must meet company driver qualifications.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck, and/or electric pallet jack as appropriate.
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area.
• Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps bundles together.
• Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance for the warehouse and sales center offices.
• Wears company‑provided uniform and presents a professional image.
• Operates delivery truck and loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, hand truck, forklift, and/or electric pallet jack as appropriate.
• Arranges products according to pre‑arranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
• Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfers product from customer stockroom to floor displays in compliance with "Sell By" dates, maximizing product in store and minimizing product in stockroom.
• Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicates effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
• Constructs or assembles display aid from company‑provided point‑of‑sale materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with all Quality Assurance guidelines and policies of the company.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Forklift operator certified or willing to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and current valid medical card or willing to obtain.
• Willingness to use a growth mindset and lead with courage.
