Warehouseman

The Warehouseman performs roles in receiving, inspection, stocking, staging, packaging, crating, inventory issue, shipping, and delivery functions at the Conoco Phillips' warehouse on Minnesota Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska. Interfacing among other clients and contractor personnel required.

Essential Duties:

  • Use one or more computerized systems or databases to develop, maintain, and report material status, to include creating FR's or Excel spreadsheets to transfer, stage, issue and return material.
  • Manual Materials Handling is required.
  • Load/unload freight vans, trucks, flatbeds, box trucks using various types of indoor/outdoor forklifts.
  • Candidate must be able to follow instructions from supervision.
  • Candidate must be able to read and understand Company/Client SOPs.
  • Must have analytical and organizational skills.
  • Multiple disciplines include interfacing and coordination with Client and company personnel for production, engineering, construction, maintenance, purchasing departments, as well as vendors and others.
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor may include bin-maintenance, cleaning warehouse work areas, workstations, etc.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with limited direction and supervision.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

Required Experience:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid (U.S issued) Driver's License is required.
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to work 40 hours a week in the Anchorage Warehouse is required.
  • At least five (5) years of experience working in the receiving, inspection, stocking, staging, packaging, inventory, shipping and delivering functions within warehouse operation is required.
  • Experience with SAP, Excel, Word, and/or Outlook is required.

Preferred Experience:

  • A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is preferred.
