Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leading utility service provider, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of the Customer Support Department supporting customer inquiries and outage reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• 24-32 hours perweek, with additional hours available as needed
  • Shifts will include nights, weekends, and holidays: 4pm-12am, 12am-8am, 8am-8pm, and 8pm-8am.

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls regarding utility services.
• Report customer outages, inquiries, and issues related to power, water, internet, TV cable, and other utility services.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel to address outages and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
• Maintain moderate computer skills to document and manage customer interactions accurately.
• Adapt to scheduling changes, including working rotating shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and professional interaction with customers.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
