Inspector Packer

Huhtamaki, Inc., a global leader in sustainable packaging, is hiring an Inspector Packer to support our efforts to keep food and drink safe while improving the environmental impact of our packaging. The position is located in Andalusia, Alabama, and requires a reliable commute to the facility.

The Inspector Packer will work Monday‑Friday, 3pm – 11pm, ensuring that all finished product cartons are inspected for quality, properly packed, and compliant with safety and food‑safety standards.

• Observe all Huhtamaki safety rules and use safe working methods to prevent injury or damage to company property.
• Inspect and pack finished good cartons into corrugated boxes.
• Visually inspect products for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, lead persons, and operators about safety, quality, and production matters.
• Follow SQF and food‑safety regulations at all times.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Continuous mental and visual attention while performing work activities.
• Shift work of 40 hours per week, with potential overtime.
• Physically capable of moderate to light effort: frequent lifting of up to 35lbs, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, and overhead reaching.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred).
