Family Nurse Practitioner

Exciting Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Andalusia, AL

Main Street Family Care is expanding and seeks a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide patient-centered care in urgent, primary, telemedicine, and occupational medicine settings.

Early career and new graduate FNPs are encouraged to apply. The role includes on-site orientation, training shifts, and ongoing support from senior providers.

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Minor procedures (toe‑nail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x‑rays (to be over‑read by radiologist)
• General dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General gynecological expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine

Main Street Clinic Hours

• Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Rotating schedule includes every other weekend. Sample:

• Week 1:
  Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
• Week 2:
  Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcomed)
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (company covers cost)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
