longleaf pine ecosystem restoration in the central Gulf Coast region of southern Alabama or northwest Florida. The Longleaf Forester plays a lead role in representing The Alliance to our external audiences and delivering technical assistance and training in many forms to best support these key functions across the range of longleaf restoration. The efforts include, but are not limited to, direct technical assistance to landowners and managers to provide the best information available to meet their needs and their objectives for longleaf restoration, and training through The Alliance’s signature Longleaf Academies, workshops, field days, and webinars.
The successful candidate will also have opportunities in special projects where their unique skills can best advance TLA’s restoration objectives.
