Job Title
This is a job post for a position requiring specific qualifications and physical demands.
Requirements / QualificationsMust have an AA Degree or successfully passed the Shasta County Instructional Aide Proficiency Test, which meets the NCLB requirements, at the 70th percentile or above in each area:
Reading, Language, Math. Ability to pass a physical exam, clear TB test and background fingerprint check.
- Paraprofessional Testing (Please attach or schedule testing.)
Physical demands of the job include lifting up to 50 lbs., i.e. toileting. Moving students for safety and/or transition times. Must sit, kneel, squat, crawl for extended periods of time throughout the day, and move quickly to address student behavior.
