Mechanical Assembly Technician

O2 Employment Services is working with a local manufacturing and automation company to find their next Mechanical Assembly Technician. This position involves hands-on assembly of mechanical components and systems, including work related to specialized equipment and parts.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, reliable, and comfortable working with tools and detailed assembly processes.

• $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)
• Full-time opportunity with potential for long-term placement
• Overtime opportunities may be available
• Hands-on work in a growing technical field

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications
• Work with tools to build and install parts and equipment
• Assist with assembly of specialized components (including automotive or industrial parts)
• Follow detailed instructions, drawings, and procedures
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Strong mechanical aptitude (experience with tools, assembly, or similar work)
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read basic drawings or instructions
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, move, and work in a hands‑on environment
• Reliable and eager to learn
