Treatment Nurse – Full-Time Oak River Rehab - 3300 Franklin St, Anderson, CA 96007
Hourly Rate:
Starting at $29/HR DOE

Position Summary The Treatment Nurse plays a vital role in providing specialized skin, wound, and treatment care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal resident outcomes. This position supports resident comfort, healing, and quality of life through clinical expertise and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities (Summary):
Assess, treat, and manage wounds, skin conditions, and dermatologic concerns
Collaborate with physicians, Medical Director, DON, and interdisciplinary care team on resident care plans
Provide detailed written and verbal updates on resident condition and treatment progress
Perform routine skin assessments and quarterly dermatologic evaluations
Ensure appropriate prevention and treatment of pressure injuries
Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident transitions of care Provide direct nursing care during emergencies and changes in condition
Educate staff and participate in in-service training related to skin and wound care Maintain accurate documentation and protect resident confidentiality
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Current nursing license (LVN or RN) in good standing with the State of California Experience in wound care or treatment nursing preferred
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Team-oriented, compassionate, and detail-focused approach to care Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
