Staff Accountant - Construction

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in Quick Books, a grasp of accounting fundamentals, and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

• Maintain and update financial records using Quick Books
• Record and reconcile daily transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Communicate updates to management
• Coordinate with external accountants for audits and tax preparation
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

• 2+ years of accounting experience, construction industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Quick Books experience (preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
