ResponsibilitiesWHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST?
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will spend your days at the heart of a busy office, working as part of a team to answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls, directing them to the correct departments or representatives. Your mornings will include opening, date-stamping, sorting, and distributing incoming mail to the appropriate departments. Throughout the day, you will greet guests and visitors with a professional and friendly attitude, ensuring they are welcomed and guided to the right location or contact.
You will also gather, print, and sort incoming faxes and EDI documents, placing them in the correct folders for distribution, while maintaining an organized and efficient front desk.
Front Desk Receptionist Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong language skills with proper grammar and diction
- Familiarity with basic word processing programs
- Polite, courteous, and professional phone etiquette
- Legible handwriting and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Ability to open, sort, date-stamp, and distribute incoming mail
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Willingness to attend training workshops related to customer service or computer skills

- Experience with basic office machinery, such as computers, fax machines, and copiers
