Job SummaryPerforms the duties of a Guest Service Representative and fulfills the duties as a Guest Service Lead when required. When performing Lead Responsibilities, supervises up to 25 employees in the absence of a Supervisor in the Guest Services Department. Assists in the direction and coordination of this unit, carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, and trains and directs employees to address complaints and resolve problems.
Responsibilities- Assists in implementing all promotions as they relate to the area of the Rewards Center.
- Supervises programs and procedures, and achieves Rewards Club membership goals.
- Coordinates passenger reservations and boarding pass issuance.
- Supervises marketing operations and representatives in the Rewards Center area.
- Implements procedures to maintain courteous, prompt, and efficient customer service.
- Reports and reconciles coupons and incentives, and coordinates all customer inquiries and complaints.
- Maintains accurate forecasting of passenger volumes and records.
- Promotes membership in the rewards program and educates patrons on Rewards Club benefits.
- Maintains daily procedures regarding Rewards Club members, including identification, filing, and record keeping.
- Manages cash drawer and ensures accurate balance.
- Handles coupons and newspaper promotions related to cruises and property promotions.
- Makes public announcements and special announcements as needed.
- Processes direct mail inquiries and updates customer account information.
- Assists with resolving player complaints and problems.
- Distributes promotional items and manages redemption processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proficient in verbal and written English; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience (1‑3 years).
- Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, percentage, and reading bar graphs).
- Computer literate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and longer hours if required by business needs.
- Commitment to a positive, service‑oriented environment with professional appearance and behavior.
- Occasionally able to push/pull or lift up to 25 pounds.
- Requires good vision, including color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk 2‑3 miles over an 8‑10 hour shift, use hands for tasks, and climb stairs.
- Requires Indiana Gaming Commission and Indiana Horse Racing Commission licenses to access restricted areas and patron information.
- Will be exposed occasionally to secondary smoke, outdoor weather conditions, and moderate noise levels.
