Role: Customer Service Representative (Veterinary Receptionist)
Status: Full-time
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
Schedule: Four-day workweek with rotating Saturdays

We're looking for a friendly, compassionate Customer Service Representative to serve as one of the first points of contact for our clients and their pets. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming experience while keeping the front office organized, supporting an efficient hospital workflow, and helping clients feel informed and cared for throughout every visit.

- Answer a multi-line phone system while assessing, prioritizing, and directing calls appropriately
- Schedule appointments to support efficient use of doctor and staff time
- Check clients and patients in and collect accurate, pertinent information
- Confirm upcoming appointments according to hospital protocols
- Check clients and patients out and collect payments at the time of service
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed
- Maintain accurate client and patient information within the practice-management system
- Respond to client questions and help resolve concerns professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support day-to-day front-office operations and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow CSRs to keep the hospital running smoothly
- Genuine love for animals and the people who care for them
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities
Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfort using Windows-based computer software and learning a veterinary practice-management system
- Accurate and efficient data-entry skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player
