Job Description JOB SUMMARYAssists with the management of the Table Games Department on an assigned shift and in accordance with the approved policies, procedures, Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations and Internal Controls. Promotes and maintains the utmost integrity and high-quality customer service to all patrons and employees.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONSComplies with Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls, as well as company policies.
Includes opening and closing table games in assigned areas; verifying count as provided by the Dealer.
Supervises Table Games operations and personnel on an assigned shift as necessary.
Includes inspecting desk prior to play.
Monitoring bets and payouts are correct as needed.
Sets high personal standards for performance and encourages others to do the same.
Proactively recognizes rewards and celebrates outstanding examples of employee performance.
Coaches direct reports in pertinent skills of operations.
Provide written feedback in the form of DAN when applicable up to Documented Coaching, additional levels of discipline must be approved by Shift Manager or above before issuing.
Counsels, guides and instructs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties.
Serves as a role model to all employees at all times.
Void Fills / Markers;
Monitors table limits;
Is aware of situational play in the pit and informs the Table Games Manager or above;
Complete progressive/taxable jackpots and wins.
Serves as the “expert” on the floor.
Ensures all guests problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within the established guidelines.
Maintains departmental procedures that will assure proper protection of all table games operations from loss due to mistake or theft.
Maintains current information on laws and regulations affecting table games.
Reviews and assesses reports and other relevant sources of information related to the operations.
All other job duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES/JOB DIMENSIONSRegular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Harrah’s from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Harrah’s disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Harrah’s policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of Company facilities. Employees who violate Company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
QUALIFICATIONSCurrent Table Games supervisory experience of 3 to 4 years preferred. Qualified candidates must have good analytical, problem‑solving, critical thinking and decision‑making skills. Candidates must possess effective communication skills both oral and written. Must have an upbeat and positive attitude, professional appearance and be a team player.

PHYSICALDEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
