JOB SUMMARY:

The Dealer will create and maintain a fun, entertaining, party atmosphere for extended periods of time while dealing various table games. Will provide the best service experience for customers.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Greet each guest with a bright, genuine smile and enthusiastic verbal greeting
• Control pace of the game and inform the Table Games Supervisor/ Dual Rate Table Games Supervisor of any request or unusual play
• Generate fun and excitement at all times
• Exchange cash for gaming chips according to established procedures
• Responsible for game protection and game control.
• Know and abide by Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls and company policies and procedures

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:

Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

ACCESS TO GAMING FLOOR:

Access to gaming floor required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand and deal for extended periods of time. Must be able to consistently meet the appearance and uniform standards for this position. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards. Must be able to reach, bend, twist, turn, grab, grip, sort and stack. Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.

Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises and bright lights.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Proof of experience as a dealer with a licensed casino or completion of an approved training course in card and dice games. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent math skills and have the ability to multi-task. Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public. Conduct assigned game(s) according to established procedures.
