Overview

As a full-time Reinsurance Specialist with Unified Group Services
, you ll play a critical part in the financial health and stability of both our company and the carriers we partner with. You ll help achieve amazing results for our customers by filing reinsurance claims for over-specific claims.

You ll earn competitive hourly pay (based on experience), work in our Anderson, IN office from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday (with overtime available), and enjoy these excellent benefits and perks:

Accuracy, thoroughness, and a drive to do your best will be the keys to your success! You ll be in charge of reinsurance claims, taking care of responsibilities like filing claims, data entry, cross-departmental collaboration, and more. This role involves:

• Filing reinsurance claims with the carrier and providing support documentation as needed
• Researching unpaid and rejected over-specific claims and replying to the reinsurance companies to uncover a solution
• Running RX reports for filing, completing over-specific claims cover sheets, and accurately documenting filings in Excel
• Logging reimbursements in Excel and sending letters to customers about their refunds
• Coordinating with the marketing department on closing groups
• Updating the customer data sheet on a monthly basis

The following qualifications would be bonuses!

• Some college education
• Experience with self-funded insurance
