Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeper)

We are looking for a Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeper) to join our amazing team!

• Clean public areas and residents’ apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties, including:
• Distributing laundered articles and linens.
• Replacing and hanging draperies.
• Changing beds.
• Cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusting furniture and equipment.
• Polishing metalwork.
• Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Perform all laundry duties, including:
• Washing, drying and ironing resident laundry and community linens and textiles in provided appliances.
• Folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately.
• Distributing laundered articles and linens.
• Replacing and hanging draperies and changing beds.
• Maintaining resident laundry areas including mopping floors and washing walls regularly.
• Washing windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
• Keeping utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies.
• Stocking cleaning cart with supplies.
• Emptying wastebaskets, transporting trash and waste to disposal area.
• Assuring trash and dumpster areas remain clean in coordination with maintenance.
• Completing maintenance work orders for any repairs needed.
• Reporting resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
• Reporting potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for dusting and polishing furniture including picture frames, mirrors, and other items in the apartment.
• Wash and disinfect all countertops and sink areas according to specified procedures.
• Mop and disinfect bathrooms and floors.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas.
• Refill paper products and soap dispensers, empty trash.
• Clean common areas.
• Complete detailed cleaning assignments as directed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
