The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes to support the efficient production of high-quality products. This role partners with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve process capability, reduce costs, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost performance
  • Support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturability, process capability, and smooth production ramp-up
  • Analyze existing processes and implement improvements using lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues impacting quality, cost, or production schedules and implement corrective actions
  • Support installation, optimization, and improvement of manufacturing equipment and automation
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Analyze manufacturing data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and process documentation
  • Experience with CAD software, ERP/MES systems, and data analysis tools preferred
Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Work performed in both office and industrial manufacturing environments
  • PPE required when on the production floor
