ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for the day-to-day coordination of production activities and performance in your assigned area. Your role spans financial performance, employee safety, and team development. You lead and manage a shift of 20–60 employees, taking an active role in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and corrective actions. You collaborate with other groups onsite and across NUSA to ensure your team and area are fully aligned with organizational goals.
You also help shape a workplace culture that engages and motivates associates at all levels.
Work Schedule: This position will require working on a 2/2/3,12-hour night shift schedule. The night shift occurs from 6:00pm — 6:30am. The schedule pattern is summarized below:

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing production floor.
- Ensure that production targets and deadlines are met, while maintaining high quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule production activities, including assigning tasks to production workers and monitoring progress.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, such as output, efficiency, and scrap rates, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Train and develop production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all production employees.
- Maintain and update production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or process changes as needed.
Ensure the timely deployment of people development plan and assure the competencies of his/her team as per the agreed plan. Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the team. (10%)
Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times. Updated work instructions available for all positions. Processes are run in accordance with SOP’s, SSOP’s and other documentation. Activities being performed having an environmental impact are communicated and accomplished according to the environmental management. (15%)
Ensure quality objectives are met including regular adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), performance of sanitation audits, food safety checks, and product quality checks conducted according to policies. Actively participate in prevention and correction of quality related errors. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety e.g. protective clothing (uniform), shoe change & hand wash. (15%)
