Job Summary
The Electro Mechanical Technician is a multi-skilled technical professional responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production and processing equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on proactive and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, minimize unplanned downtime, and support overall plant performance across safety, quality, cost, and service objectives. The EMT plays a critical role in sustaining operational excellence while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
CompensationThe hourly compensation for this role is $36.94 and qualifies for the Nestle Quarterly Bonus structure.
Shift Schedule and DetailsEnjoy 3-day weekends every other week with a consistent 2/2/3, 12-hour shift schedule.
Hours:
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Training Monday - Friday, Day Shift (for onboarding).
OT as needed.

- Perform proactive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance on production and support equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic PLC-controlled systems.
- Support production operations during equipment adjustments, changeovers, and startups.
- Maintain and service injection molding machines, blow molders, fillers, conveyors, labelers, case packers, palletizers, and other processing and packaging systems.
- Adhere to aseptic quality control standards, FDA regulations, and Nestlé Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Initiate, manage, and close work orders using the CMMS system.
- Analyze equipment and line performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead or support continuous improvement and NCE initiatives.
- Train operators on equipment and autonomous maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, and extended shifts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Experience with CMMS systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
