A manufacturer in Anderson, IN is seeking two dedicated Machine Builders for the 1st shift in the Housing department. This role involves working with metal products to assemble machine housing units using blueprints and hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints to assemble industrial filters.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components, including pneumatics.
• Form and bend metal tubing.
• Perform functional testing of manufactured products.
• Pack the final product for shipment.

Essential

Skills:

• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Understanding of schematics.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience with bending machines.
• Machine operator skills.
• Experience with grinding.
• Ability to work with electrical wiring.

Work Environment:

Work on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Be prepared for mandated overtime, potentially working 50+ hours per week, including Saturdays. Enjoy a clean, air-conditioned, and quiet facility, working in teams of 4 or 5. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes. Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and a high-visibility vest are required.

Each shift includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two or three 15-minute paid breaks, depending on shift length.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
