Paint GAPP Trainer

Purpose of Position: The Trainer will contribute to the success of the Paint department by contributing to the manufacturing of quality plastic painted products for our customers. Ensure product quality and perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

• Will perform normal paint line responsibilities, unless needed for training and containment
• Attend mandatory training meetings
• Process training for contingents, new hires and veteran associates
• Visually inspect product for defects and flaws at each stage of process following Quality guidelines and processes
• Fill out the Paint Training Check list during training sessions
• Contain parts that do not meet specifications based on Quality guidelines and processes
• Mentor and train new hires and contingent associates on proper production standards and processes
• Expected to follow all safety, production, quality, and HR policies and procedures always and in a safe manner
• Utilize 5S principles to clean, organize, stock, and prepare your area for incoming shift
• Follow specific written and oral instruction
• Will perform other duties as assigned

• Basic math skills

• Stand/walk at least 8 hours a day
• Bend, stoop, or kneel
• Use hands and fingers to feel and handle injected parts
• Repetitive motions
• Lift and/or move container up to 50 lbs
• Overtime may be required
