PRN , Nights, and Weekends - RN​/LPN

Bridges of Hope is looking for PRN RN/ LPNs with availability during days, nights, and weekends.

Pay:

PRN LPN starting $36/hr

PRN RN starting $38/hr

Nights shift differential of +$2/hr

Nurses are responsible for implementing nursing services in medical detoxification and residential.

• Complete client intake assessments
• Monitor vitals and withdrawal symptoms
• Administer medications accurately and safely
• Document all care in our EMR system (Kipu)
• Communicate with doctors, therapists, and care staff
• Respond to emergencies and support crisis management
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Work 1 holiday per year (minimum)

• Active RN or LPN license (Indiana)
• ASN or BSN from an accredited school
• 1+ year nursing experience (hospital or behavioral health preferred)
• BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Comfortable with physical requirements such as standing, walking, bending, and responding quickly to emergencies and working 12-hour shifts

As a PRN nurse, you must be available to work 2 12-hour shifts per month.

• Mobility: Twist, Bend, Stoop/squat, Move quickly (respond to emergency), Climb stairs, Walk, Stand
• Hearing: Hear normal speaking level sounds, Hear faint body sounds, Hear in situations where mouth is not visible, Hear alarms
• Visual: See information up to 24 inches away, See objects up to 20 feet away, Use depth perception, Use peripheral vision, Distinguish color and color intensity
• Endurance: Walk long distances, Stand for 8-12 hours, Sustain repetitive movement such as CPR compressions
• Strength: Push and pull 50 pounds, Support 50 pounds of weight with assistance, Lift 50 pounds with assistance, Carry equipment, Use upper body strength, Squeeze with hands to operate fire extinguisher
• Other: Reach above shoulders/overhead, Reach below waist, Reach in front, Pick up objects, Grasp small objects, Write with pen, Use computer, Pinch/pick with fingers, Twist at waist, Twist wrists/hands, Squeeze with fingers
