WOUND CARE NURSE, RN or LPN

Full Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN)

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus.

The Wound Care Nurse evaluates new and existing in/outpatient wounds and monitors and treats wounds according to the institution's treatment policies and procedures. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting. The nurse communicates with physicians, CCO, and co‑workers about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The nurse responds quickly and accurately to changes in an inpatient's condition or response to treatment.

Additionally, the nurse performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Indiana RN or LPN licensure in good standing.
• Wound Care Certification and experience preferred.
• ACLS Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
