Position: Supervised Visitation FacilitatorMADISON COUNTY

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate supervised visitation facilitator to join our team in the Madison County Area. This position entails facilitating court-ordered supervised visits between parents and children, as ordered by the court. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved. You will also gather and evaluate information on participant engagement, program outcomes, and overall impact to track the advancement of assigned programs.

There is a fieldwork component to the job, which involves frequent trips to family homes or other specified sites. This is a part-time (PRN) position; benefits, PTO, or direct mileage reimbursement are not provided. Gas reimbursement of $25 applies if you drive over 1 hour for a visitation. You will be required to prepare regular reports summarizing program progress, including qualitative assessments of participant behavior, feedback on participant experiences, skills gained, and challenges encountered.

The position pays a base rate of $25 per hour.

Job duties
  • Communicate with families and caregivers to establish visitation schedules, address concerns, and provide guidance on visitation protocols
  • Observe and document interactions during visitations, providing real-time feedback to maintain safety and appropriate behavior
  • Prepare regular reports summarizing program progress, including qualitative and quantitative assessments of participant impact
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all activities, including case notes, visit reports, and data collection forms, submitted within 24 hours
  • Report any issues or concerns to the direct supervisory staff in a timely manner
Requirements

  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, reporting requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with diverse community members, stakeholders, and the contracting organization

  • Ability to manage multiple projects
Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree — REQUIRED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license
  • No felony convictions or other criminal offenses
  • Must have your own vehicle to transport clients — company vehicle available for usage a few days per week
  • Proof of valid auto insurance
