Currently looking for an accountant to fill an opening with this manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate, or someone with a few years of experience who is interested in gaining more exposure to the general ledger and journal entries.
Responsibilities for the Accounting Analyst Position- Work closely with the Accounting Manager in providing management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts as well as preparing financial statements.
- Prepare financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system.
- Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system.
- Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes if necessary.
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
- A positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
